Quality assurance and surveillance program is a mandatory quality testing requirement for all x-ray equipment in India. It is a compliance test for diagnostic radiology to provide the best possible image with the optimum dose and at minimum cost to the patient and the hospital.
The quality assurance program QCheck, run by Apt Medical Systems, is offered to diagnose and measure the deviations observed in X-ray, Mammography, CT Scan, Cathlabs, and Dental X-ray machines while completing the procedures of Radiography and Fluoroscopy. This program ensures the quality of the machines as required by the law and the governing body, Atomic Energy Regulatory Body (AERB). Consultancy services are given for room planning and layout as per governing norms. Lectures on Radiation Safety are conducted for radiation workers and hospital staff.
